This resource, developed by ASH, brings together data and information to illustrate the impact on smoking on health inequalities. The dashboard can be adjusted to show the impact of smoking at national, regional and local level.
National and regional smoking prevalence data has been derived from the Annual Population Survey 2019; however, estimates at lower geographical level have been estimated by calculating a % proportion of smokers in each respective area. Due to weighing and rounding there will be a slight variation from regional figures. Therefore regional and national figures do not equal the sum of the corresponding local authority estimates.
